Through the Lens: Capturing Colombia

Shortly before the pandemic hit, I had the pleasure of spending a week and a half in Colombia. It was my third trip to Latin America, having visited Mexico and Peru several years back. With such a short time to visit such a large country, I packed in as many highlights as I could: smiling Cartagena, sprawling Medellin, the capital, Bogotà, and rustic Salento, with its nearby Valle del Cocora - home of the world's tallest palm trees. Although I didn't take many notes about my jaunt in the country, I remember being struck by the diversity of its people and landscapes - as well as the vibrant colors that I encountered at every corner. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll let the pictures do the talking!
